Justina Rodriguez Jackson is a Lecturer and Academic Coordinator in EXCEL. She joined EXCEL in the fall of 2025. Prior to her position in EXCEL, she was Research Faculty on the Research and Evaluation Team at CEISMC at Georgia Tech, where she worked from 2018 to 2025. Her academic career has focused on the intersection of teaching and learning, particularly in measuring the impact of innovative educational interventions and partnerships in K–12 and college settings.

She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia (Bachelor of Science in Education) and her master’s degree at Georgia State University (Master of Education). She earned her PhD in Educational Policy Studies (with a concentration in Research, Measurement, and Statistics) from Georgia State University in 2020. She also earned certificates in Qualitative Research and Excellence in College Teaching.

Before entering higher education, Justina was a health and physical education teacher for seven years. She taught inclusive and adapted physical education as part of her practice. Her academic training, broadly focused on education, has prepared her to work in a variety of settings with diverse student needs across the learning lifespan.
